
About Annie Try
Annie Try is a retired clinical psychologist turned contemporary fiction author. With a strong background in psychology, she creates compelling narratives filled with well-developed characters, intriguing mysteries, and elements of romance, psychological depth, or spiritual insight.

In addition to contemporary fiction, Annie also writes inspiring coming-of-age novels for young adults, where protagonists navigate and overcome major life challenges.​​​​
Holding a Master’s degree in Creative Writing, she is passionate about mentoring aspiring writers, leading group workshops, and speaking at literary events. She writes from The Plotting Shed, a converted potting shed at her rural Norfolk home, where she finds endless inspiration.
Supported by her husband, a playful goldendoodle, and a rescue tortoiseshell cat, Annie becomes immersed in the world of her characters, bringing unique and engaging stories to life.

Previously, she served as the chairperson of the Association of Christian Writers and remains an active member of both the ACW and the Society of Authors.​​
